Day 1Arrival at Kigoma Airport

Upon your arrival at Kigoma Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and picked up for a delightful breakfast at a local restaurant. After breakfast, you will be transferred directly to Kibilizi Port for a boat ride to Gombe National Park.

Once you arrive at Gombe National Park, you will receive a short briefing about the park and its wildlife. Then, embark on an exciting Chimpanzee trekking adventure, following in the footsteps of Dr. Jane Goodall.

Dinner will be served at 7:30 PM, followed by an overnight stay at the Kasekela Special Tent, offering a unique and comfortable experience in the heart of the park.

Day 2Chimpanzee Trekking Adventure

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on another thrilling Chimpanzee trekking experience. Afterward, take a scenic walk to the feeding station, Kakombe Waterfalls, Mkenke Waterfalls, and Jane’s Peak, where you’ll witness stunning views and learn more about the park’s unique ecosystem.

Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy exciting activities such as kayaking and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tanganyika.

Dinner will be served at 7:30 PM, followed by another restful night at the Kasekela Special Tent, ensuring you are refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventures.

Day 3Exploring Dr. Livingstone's Legacy at Ujiji

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before setting out on your final Chimpanzee trekking adventure or exploring the park to see other monkeys. Return to the lodge for lunch at 12:30 PM.

After lunch, depart Gombe National Park and head to Kigoma Grano Beach Chalet (Hotel). Upon arrival, take an hour to rest and rejuvenate. At 4:30 PM, visit the historic site of Dr. Livingstone in Ujiji, where you will delve into the fascinating history and legacy of this renowned explorer.

Return to the hotel for a delightful dinner at 7:30 PM, capping off a day filled with adventure and historical discovery.

Day 4Journey from Kigoma to Dar es Salaam

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to Kigoma Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. This marks the end of your incredible adventure, filled with chimpanzee trekking, breathtaking scenery, and historical exploration.
